"I've wanted to be an actress for as long as I can remember, and I can say I was almost born in the theater,” she boasts. “My mum went into labor while she was watching the Nutcracker Suite in New York -- apparently I was kicking like mad." Sienna Miller sprang into the world several hours later on December 28, 1981.
Although she was born in the Big Apple, Sienna Miller grew up in England, where she was educated at the prestigious Heathfield School in Ascot, Berkshire. It was there that she first discovered her love of acting, and Sienna returned to New York at the age of 18 to enroll at the world renowned Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. It proved to be a savvy move for the young beauty, and she soon began starring in a number of well-received off-Broadway productions of Independence, Cigarettes and Chocolate and A School for Scandal.
